ABOUT QUEENSCLIFF FILM FESTIVAL

The Queenscliff Film Festival (formerly Bellarine Lighthouse Film Festival) brings an eclectic program of films selected from around the globe to digest, challenge, discuss and enjoy.

Held annually in winter in the historic Queenscliff Town Hall, the Queenscliff Film Festival is a not-for-profit community event run by a passionate committee of volunteer cinephiles. The event contributes to a strong Bellarine Peninsula Arts tradition that includes the Queenscliff Music Festival, Queenscliff Literary Festival, Winter Solstice Festival and the Lighthouse Arts Collective, to name a few.

The weekend program aims to be inclusive and accessible, providing the local community and guests access to films not readily available in the region.

Feel like a Hollywood A-lister and be part of our very own ‘mini Cannes’ right here on the Bellarine Peninsula

The 2024 Queenscliff Film Festival Committee

Rose Ott, Monica Clemow, Fiona Kelly, Suzanne Cooper, Loraine Callow and Mandy Argus make up the 2024 Queenscliff Film Festival Committee.

The Festival Committee works in a voluntary capacity and bring experience and skills from diverse backgrounds including community development, business management, public programming and arts management.

The Committee has a deep interest in cinema and takes great pleasure in presenting world class films to Queenscliff in a festival that brings the community and visitors into the historic Queenscliff Town Hall each year to share the best of the filmmaker’s art.

The festival is supported each year by gracious volunteers who give their time over the weekend to do venue set up, staff the bar, coordinate catering, check tickets, and add to the festival vibe with their friendly welcome to patrons.
